In case you missed it, over the last 7 days we have released two new products focusing on transaction speed on Ethereum.
Eden Speed RPC: Speed-optimized global infrastructure for transaction propagation.
Eden Speed Test: an open-source tool to measure the speed of any public RPC on Ethereum.
Why does speed matter on a network with on a network with a 12s blocktime?
- Each time a block is produced, it is sealed on a scheduled cadence.
- As block builders create sealed blocks and share them with proposers, it becomes less likely that the existing sealed block will be replaced by a new one.
- Which means it becomes more likely your transaction will now be placed into the following block.
- By using the fastest propagation RPC, a user is freerolling free upside of having their transaction being included in the block before they otherwise would have.
